Pope Francis will meet the leaders of the United States, Ukraine, France and India in on the sidelines of the G-7 summit in the Italian Borgo Egnatia, Reuters reported, as quoted by News.bg.
Francis, who in January warned about "perverts" dangers of artificial intelligence, will participate in the leaders' conversations about the new technology.
He is the first pope to participate in the G-7 discussions.
Releasing a program for his one-day appearance, the Vatican indicated that Francis will have a bilateral meeting with US President Joe Biden, who is Catholic.
In addition, the head of the Catholic Church will also meet Volodymyr Zelensky, Emmanuel Macron, Narendra Modi, Luis Inacio Lula da Silva, Justin Trudeau, Recep Erdogan, William Ruto, Abdelmadjid Tebbun, as well as the head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF ) Kristalina Georgieva.
