President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced today that there will be retaliatory actions after the Russian missile attack on Ukrainian territory, which killed at least 29 people and destroyed a children's hospital in the capital Kyiv, reported Reuters, quoted by BTA.
Ukraine will insist on a meeting of the UN Security Council in connection with this strike, the head of state said.
At the same time, Italy denounced the Russian attack on the children's hospital as a war crime. It must be condemned by the whole world, Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani said today, quoted by Reuters.
"I am shocked by the footage after the bombings in Kiev, where a children's hospital was also hit. War crimes that must be denounced by the entire international community, Tajani wrote on the X social platform, adding that the Italian government will continue to protect the integrity of Ukraine and its people.
