American leader Joe Biden has said he will withdraw from the presidential race with Donald Trump if doctors reveal he has health problems, reports CBS News.
"If I had some disease, if someone - doctors - came and said you have such and such a problem,”, he pointed out, answering a corresponding question.
Biden believes that the only thing age brings is wisdom.
He previously stated that his state of health does not require additional examinations, but he is ready for them if the doctors require it.
There are growing calls among Democrats to nominate another candidate to replace Biden after his debate with Trump failed. In theory, the party will have such an opportunity at the congress in August, but in practice it will be difficult to remove the defeated president from the race if he does not refuse to participate.
At the same time, the politician says he intends to stay in the race and make it to the end.
