< p>Russia has lost control over 44 settlements in the Kursk region, and the status of another ten settlements is unknown, the DeepState project reports.
"The Moscow-controlled government in Kursk acknowledged the loss of 28 settlements in the region. According to our calculations, about 44 settlements have been exempted, and the status of another 10 is unknown. The assessment is extremely cautious," the report states.
Analysts note that almost no one knows the real number of settlements over which Russia has lost control.
"There are villages from which there are pictures of our soldiers, but the control is not ours. That is why the estimate is approximate," the report added.
