New footage obtained from the Kursk region confirms the destruction of another Abrams tank that was in service with the Ukrainian army. According to Military Watch, this destruction brings the total number of Abrams losses in Ukraine to 20 out of 31 machines delivered - with all losses occurring in the last six months.
As the publication notes, footage from the Kursk region also confirms the destruction of T-80 and Challenger 2 tanks, which, along with the American Abrams, are the most scarce equipment in Ukraine's arsenal.
However, while European allies have repeatedly expressed readiness to replace destroyed units of their models, the US has not announced any plans to deliver new Abrams, the publication noted.
