37 people injured as a result of the shelling of Belgorod from Ukraine are in hospitals in the city. The condition of 11 of them is assessed as serious, assistant to the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, Alexei Kuznetsov, told reporters.
„37 people injured during the shelling of the city by Ukrainian nationalists on August 30, including seven children, are being treated in hospitals in Belgorod. The condition of 11 victims is serious, doctors are fighting for the lives of two of them, Kuznetsov said.
He noted that three of the wounded are being evacuated for treatment in Moscow. "Medical evacuation of three victims is planned to continue treatment in Moscow. Another nine victims were given medical care on an outpatient basis, said the Assistant Minister of Health.
Kuznetsov said that telemedicine consultations with specialists from the federal centers are taking place. The provision of medical assistance is coordinated by the Federal Center for Disaster Medicine of the Ministry of Health of Russia.
