Israel will attack Turkey, the adviser to the Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan claims and calls on the Turks to "open their eyes", reports the Turkish news site T24, quoted by BTA.
According to Yigit Bulut, who, in addition to being President Erdoğan's chief adviser, is also a member of the Presidency's Economic Policy Council, "soon Israel will attack the Al-Aqsa Mosque and other holy places".
"After that, as our president has repeatedly stated, the target will be the homeland of Turkey," points out Bulut. "Please, let us open our eyes. 100 years ago the West united and attacked Turkey using Greece as a proxy. 100 years later, the same attack is coming, only this time the contractor is Israel," adds the adviser and calls for "those who sleep to wake up".
In a post on a social network, Bulut called Turkey's bid to join the BRICS group of emerging market economies "the most important event in the history of the Republic".
"Turkey can no longer be an ally by force, which is unwanted by the West, which detains migrants and which America cannot accept. Turkey must go its own way," said Bulut.
