The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, told the UN General Assembly that Russian President Vladimir Putin is planning attacks on Ukrainian nuclear power plants and energy infrastructure, Reuters reported, as quoted by BTA.
Zelensky also said that alternative plans to end the war in Ukraine give Putin "the political space to continue the war.
The Ukrainian president questioned the "true interests" of China and Brazil to conclude a peace agreement in Ukraine and stated that they will not "increase their influence at the expense of Ukraine".
"When some offer alternatives, half-hearted settlement plans, so-called sets of principles, it not only ignores the interests and suffering of Ukrainians ... not only ignores reality, but also gives Putin political space to continue the war," emphasized Zelensky before the UN General Assembly.
