Police in Montenegro confiscated 95 kilograms of marijuana and arrested a 20-year-old man from the town of Tuzi, South-Eastern Montenegro, on suspicion of illegal production, possession and distribution of narcotic substances, the MINA agency reported, quoted from BTA.
In the police announcement, it is specified that officers of the “Border Police” sector, after several days of surveillance in the Tuzi area, stopped a car driven by 20-year-old M.U.
„In the trunk of the car, four large packages of marijuana with a total weight of about 95 kilograms were found,”, the message says.
The police specify that a prosecutor from the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica has been informed about the incident
„Additional police-prosecution actions are being taken to identify and prosecute those suspected of having moved the drug from the territory of Albania to Montenegro before it was seized by M.U.“, adds the message.
