"Large-scale" A police operation will be deployed in the British capital London today and tomorrow.
It is in response to planned protest marches and commemorative events on the occasion of Monday's one-year anniversary of the start of the war between Israel and the radical Palestinian group "Hamas", which is already expanding in the Middle East, reported PA Media and DPA, citing a police statement.
The movement "Campaign for Palestine Solidarity" (Palestine Solidarity Campaign) is planning, together with other organizations, a demonstration today, with the assembly point of the protesters in Russell Square, and the final point of the march is the Palace of Whitehall, where speeches will be made.
A counter-protest organized by the group "End of Hate" is also planned. (Stop The Hate).
A memorial ceremony for the Israeli victims on October 7 will take place in the iconic "Hyde Park" in London tomorrow. It is organized by the Council of Representatives of British Jews, the Council of Jewish Leaders and other organisations.
London police said they are not currently aware of any events planned for Monday, which is the anniversary itself.
"Protests and related events have become a hallmark of the 12 months of horrific terrorist attacks against Israel," said the head of the operation, Lou Puddifoot.
