One woman died and 23 people were injured as a result of the nighttime rocket attack on Nikolaev, which damaged infrastructure facilities, the regional governor announced, quoted by BTA.
On October 15, around 02:30, Russian forces attacked the city of Nikolaev with S-300 missiles, the chairman of the Nikolaev regional military administration, Vitaly Kim, announced on his Telegram channel. His message stated that one woman was killed and 23 people who needed medical attention were injured.
According to Kim, the attack caused damage to various infrastructure sites, including restaurant complexes, commercial pavilions, residential buildings and cars. Fires broke out as a result of the explosions.
According to local channels in “Telegram” in the course of 7-8 minutes, seven strong explosions erupted over the city.
According to the last census of the Bulgarian community in Mykolaiv region in 2001, it numbered 5,600 people. Bulgarians live mainly in the Ternovka district, located on the outskirts of the regional Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv, where there are about 5,000 representatives of the local Bulgarian community.
