Russian occupation forces continue to turn Toretsk, Donetsk region, into ruins. The situation in the city is very serious, announced the Ukrainian authorities, quoted by UNIAN.
Anastasia Bobovnikova, press secretary of the operational-tactical group of troops “Lugansk”, stated that the enemy is destroying the city with the help of artillery, aviation and drones.
There are practically no entire houses left, and some neighborhoods have been completely destroyed. In this way, the occupation forces of the Russian Federation are trying to push out the Ukrainian forces.
Such tactics are used by the Russian army along the entire eastern front in Ukraine – completely destroys Ukrainian cities that it later reports it has “liberated”.
A few days ago, the Ukrainian local government announced that the Russian army controls half of the city of Toretsk in eastern Ukraine. Roughly between 40 and 50 percent of the city is under the control of the Ukrainian army. The rest of the city is occupied by the enemy," said the head of the city's military administration, Vasyl Chinchuk, to Ukrainian television.
