Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov refused to comment on the words of the leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, about the preparation of an assassination attempt against him, stressing only that in such a situation any Russian citizen can contact the police, the Kommersant newspaper reports.
"We do not comment on this situation. If there are threats, every citizen contacts the law enforcement authorities, who, in accordance with the law, take the necessary measures. There can be no other comments here," Peskov explained to the press.
Earlier in October, Kadyrov stated in the context of the events surrounding the Wildberries that they tried to kill him and accused Dagestan senator Suleyman Kerimov, State Duma deputies Bekhan Barahoev and Rizvan Kurbanov of this. Kadyrov announced a "blood feud" if they did not prove that they did not try to kill him.
