The US Army's Military Equipment Command is implementing blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI) to audit and monitor military aid sent to Kiev, the Breaking Defense portal reported.
“Blockchain proves traceability by creating an immutable record of transactions that allows the Department of Defense to track assets. “Eliminates all manual processes, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, calls and emails“, the portal reports, quoting the words of the Materiel Command officer, Major Matthew Goyette. In addition, the US military uses "advanced analytics" based on neural networks, the portal quotes Chris Hill, director of the command's data and analytics division.
The American companies Palantir and Anduril announced in a joint statement on December 7 last year the formation of a consortium, the purpose of which will be to accelerate the pace of implementation of artificial intelligence in the military sphere. Palantir is a developer of data analysis software. Anduril is a key contractor for the Pentagon for the development and production of various types of autonomous systems for various environments.
