Norway will deliver six F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine "in the near future", Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov announced in a post on the platform "Facebook" after talks today with his Norwegian colleague Bjorn Arild Gramm, reported Reuters.
UNIAN reported that at their meeting in Brussels, Umerov and Gram discussed the current situation on the front and Ukraine's needs, specifically in the field of long-range weapons.
"We have reached concrete agreements on strengthening our air defense," Umerov said.
At the same time, special attention was paid to the aviation component - strengthening the Ukrainian potential with F-16 fighters, Umerov said, emphasizing: "Norway will continue its support and in the near future will provide Ukraine with six aircraft."
