Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban congratulates the ruling party "Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia" with victory in the parliamentary elections, describing his success as stunning.
"Congratulations to Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and the Georgian Dream party on a stunning victory in today's parliamentary elections. The people of Georgia know what is best for their country and today they have expressed their voice”, the head of the Hungarian government wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
According to reports from Tbilisi, the Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia party is already celebrating victory according to the exit poll results of the pro-government TV channel "Imedi", according to which it won 56.1% of the votes. According to the Central Election Commission, out of over 97% of the polling stations, 53% won.
On October 26, parliamentary elections were held in Georgia. 18 parties participated in them, including “Georgian Dream– Democratic Georgia“, which has been in power for 12 years.
