Another strong eruption of the Sun, due to which weak magnetic storms are expected on October 28. This was reported on the Telegram channel by a leading specialist from the Phobos Meteorological Center. Michael Leus.
„Another strong flare occurred on our star, this time peaking around 10am on Saturday, and the intensity was X1.8. This is forecast to cause weak G1 class magnetic storms possible between 06:00 and 15:00 [Moscow time] on October 28”, the report said.
On October 24, scientists recorded a solar flare of the highest magnitude X3.3, as a result of which weak magnetic storms were expected. Lews noted that the cloud of solar matter was still touching Earth on October 26, causing an increase in disturbances in the geomagnetic field, but there were no magnetic storms.
