A civilian was killed in shelling of the Dnipro district in Kherson, the head of the Kherson service for rendering medical aid to refugees Roman Mrochko, reported Ukrinform, quoted by BTA.
"It became known about another victim in Kherson. As a result of enemy shelling in the Dnipro district of the city, a 61-year-old man received injuries incompatible with life, Mrochko wrote.
He added that today the occupiers killed a total of three people in Kherson.
Two civilians were killed today in the southern part of Ukraine's Kherson region, which is separated from the front line and regularly comes under Russian artillery fire, drone strikes and rockets, the regional governor said.
An elderly man was killed after a drone dropped explosives on him. Another man was killed by artillery fire, Governor Oleksandr Prokudin announced in Telegram.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said today that Russia has used more than 1,100 guided aerial bombs, 560 attack drones and about 20 missiles against his country in the past week, Reuters reported.
"Russia does not stop in its terror against Ukraine. Daily aggression against our people, our towns and villages. Strikes with different types of weapons," said Zelensky in Telegram, who called on Kiev's allies to increase pressure on Moscow.
Meanwhile, military personnel from the Southern Group of Forces reported to TASS that at least six civilians of Chasov Yar were killed by a Ukrainian drone while trying to leave the city in the direction of the Russian Federation. The Russian military said the group of civilians were first subjected to mortar and artillery fire and then attacked using drones.
Only one person from the group survived the Ukrainian strikes, according to TASS.
The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine announced today that it has opened an investigation into a possible shooting, attributed to the Russian army, of civilians in an eastern city that is the scene of fighting between the forces of Kiev and Moscow, reported AFP.
The prosecutor's office announced that it was investigating a "shooting at a civilian car" and possible "killings of civilians" in Selidovo, Donetsk region.
Prosecutors explained that they were basing their actions on an investigation conducted on the basis of a video posted by a Telegram channel linked to the Ukrainian military, the authenticity of which could not be immediately verified by AFP, as well as press reports.
On Thursday, Russian soldiers allegedly fired automatic weapons at a civilian vehicle in the city, the prosecutor's office said.
There were two civilians inside, one of whom was wounded before being rescued by Ukrainian soldiers, the source said.
