North Korea will not be the only country to send troops to the side of the Russian Federation in its war against Ukraine. Thus, an American diplomat made a prediction.
Former employee of the US State Department, David Tafuri, in a comment on “24 channel” stated that there were three other countries that were ready to send troops to the war. It is about Moscow's other allies: China, Iran and Syria.
„We should be concerned that there are several other countries that are on Russia's side, in particular Iran, Syria, China. They can help meet (Russia's) need for people who can be sent to Ukraine”, the US diplomat said.
Tafuri also noted that the occupying country has already lost many troops on the territory of Ukraine, so North Korea satisfies the need for manpower, as well as the reputational need of Russian President Vladimir Putin to show the world that Moscow has allies.< /p>
NATO and South Korea have confirmed that there are now thousands of North Korean soldiers on Russian territory. They underwent training and received Russian military uniforms. Thus, North Korea will become the first country to directly involve its army in the war between Russia and Ukraine. Kyiv described this as a huge escalation and called on Western countries to take action.
