On the thousandth day since the start of the war in Ukraine, Moscow said it will continue the military action until it achieves the goals si, reported France Press.
"The military operation will continue" until the "set goals" are achieved, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
Western military aid to Kiev "cannot influence the outcome of the operation. The operation will continue," Peskov pointed out.
Russian forces captured the Ukrainian village of Novoselidivka in eastern Ukraine, the Russian Ministry of Defense said today, as quoted by Reuters and TASS.
Novoselidivka is located near the town of Kurakhove.
Reuters notes that since the following August, Russian forces have advanced at the fastest pace since the first year of the war, capturing village after village.
Russian air defense forces shot down five Ukrainian ballistic missiles and 85 drones in the last 24 hours, Reuters and TASS reported.
