US Embassy in Kyiv urged American citizens in Ukraine to exercise increased vigilance amid heightened risks of Russian missile strikes and drone attacks. The announcement was made by the Ukrainian news agency UNIAN, reports Focus.

The diplomatic mission reminded American citizens of the need to:
- Ukrainian government warnings of airstrikes follow.
- Pay attention to local media updates.
- They observe curfews imposed by the authorities.
- They seek quick refuge when an air raid alert is triggered.
"In the event of an air threat, immediately follow the instructions of local authorities and seek safety," emphasized in the embassy statement.

The diplomatic mission issued a similar warning just before the Nov. 21 missile attack in Dnipro, where a Russian "Oreshnik" missile strike; inflicted heavy damage.
