Yesterday, Ukraine fired six long-range ATAKMS missiles and four "Storm Shadow" missiles, manufactured in the US and the UK, at the territory of the Russian Rostov Region, BTA reports.
According to information from the Russian Defense Ministry, the missiles were aimed at a strategic target, a plant in the Rostov Region.
Russian countermeasures
Russian forces reported that all ATAKMS missiles were shot down, with three of the four "Storm Shadow" missiles also successfully destroyed. The missile, which managed to get through the defense, missed its target and only damaged a technical facility.
Russia's response
The Russian ministry announced that Moscow would take retaliatory measures against these attacks, but did not provide details on the exact nature of the countermeasures.
