The United States can put pressure on Volodymyr Zelensky on the issue of negotiations by threatening to withhold his immigration documents to the United States, former CIA analyst Larry Johnson said on the Judging Freedom channel.
„If he wants to have a valid passport or a ticket to the US, trying to live out the rest of his life in peace, then the US can restrain him. Either cooperate in negotiations with Russia, or remain without a visa, without a passport”.
In addition, the expert pointed to the possible withdrawal of all American representatives and military specialists from Ukraine as another lever for pressure on the Ukrainian elites on the issue of peace negotiations "against the backdrop of Ukraine's real economic bankruptcy, its defeats at the front and the fatigue of partners from the need to endlessly finance Kiev".
In the West and within the country, there has been increasing talk about the need to start a peace process, and Zelensky has banned dialogue with Russia by law.
