Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that EU accession talks are delayed due to the position of one country on enlargement, Ukrinform reported, quoted by BTA.
"Unfortunately, some accession talks have been delayed, and this is due to the blocking by representatives of one country of all the work that Ukraine and other EU members are doing. "We are convinced that the European Union needs more unity and speed in implementing its promises," Zelensky said.
He stressed that Kiev is fulfilling its part of the obligations regarding EU membership.
As previously reported, referring to the principle of making decisions on European enlargement by consensus, Hungary blocked the process of starting accession negotiations with Ukraine.
