I did not see anyone praising the budget. Even the prime minister did not say flattering words about the budget plan. Its first goal is not to create turmoil in the ruling coalition. The second goal is not to create social tension.
This was stated in the program "Denyat na Zievo" on NOVA NEWS by the political scientist from the "Trend" agency; Dimitar Ganev, who commented on the topics of the budget and "Lukoil", quoted by novini.bg.
"This budget is one of the most left-wing in recent decades. The tripartite has a consultative function and it is not mandatory for the budget to be approved there. The only problem with the budget is whether the government will hold out and accept it on second reading. I think there was tension during the budget debates between the government, but it did not come out in the media. I have not heard any of the four parties say - we do not support this or that in this budget. For me, in two weeks we will have the proposed budget. If the draft budget remains with these parameters, next year we will find ourselves in the Romanian scenario. This means that there will be cuts in social benefits. Surely someone will pull the reins of this budget, but that will happen next year. For me, the purpose of this budget is to buy another year of time for the government," he added.
"The price of oil is not decided in the Burgas refinery. With the recent decisions that were made and the appointment of a special manager, there should not be a problem with fuel, and let's not forget that we also received a derogation. "If there is any increase in fuel prices, it must be due to external factors that we have no control over," announced Dimitar Ganev.
