We must do everything possible to preserve civil peace in the country. This was stated by Vice President Iliana Yotova in Plovdiv.

"The responsibility lies with those who organize the counter-protest. We have followed its history. This is a party counter-protest. The role of the police will be great, because clashes and what happened on December 1 should not be allowed in any way. What worries me more is that an ethnic card is being drawn. I claim that such a problem does not exist in Bulgaria. As someone who has been an MEP for 10 years, I state that our country has always - at every forum, in every session in the plenary hall in Strasbourg, been given as an example in Europe for ethnic tolerance," she explained.
