The official cabinet is dominated by figures from the democratic community, not just PP-DB, but that part of the people who have pro-European and pro-liberal beliefs. At the same time, balances are sought in it by including people from different political directions. There are people associated with the MRF in the past. An attempt is being made to build bridges to minority groups. We have representatives of Rumen Radev's official cabinets. At the same time, Radev refuses to have any connection with this government and claims that it is entirely PP-DB. This was said by political scientist Prof. Ognyan Minchev on the air of “The Day Live” on NOVA NEWS.

The expert pointed out that Hasan Ademov, who is a representative of a pro-liberal party associated with pro-market policies, was appointed as the Minister of Social Affairs. He also said that the Minister of Finance did not take a categorical position regarding the "left – right”.

Minchev is of the opinion that with regard to the left – right axis, the official cabinet is rather neutral.

The political scientist emphasized that the appointments in the government are “anti-Peevski” and an attempt is being made to build a bridge to the voters of the MRF.

With regard to Nadezhda Neynski, Minchev believes that her nomination sets a clear framework for the foreign policy that the cabinet will pursue, namely pro-European and pro-Atlantic.

According to Minchev, the role of the Deputy Prime Minister for fair elections is to guarantee the procedures for the proper conduct of the vote, as well as adequate actions by the institutions involved in order to minimize violations.

With regard to Rumen Radev, the expert believes that he is still silent, “so that he can build possible bridges and baits in all directions in society in order to maximize his result”.

The political scientist also commented on the case of “Petrohan – Okolchitsa”. According to him, this case is so complicated that he would not allow himself to give an assessment.

“What is without a doubt is that this tragedy was politicized. The new government will have to make efforts to continue the investigation and inform the public about what happened. This will not be easy, considering that the cabinet must enter into cooperation with the National Security Agency and other security institutions. Whether this will be possible and to what extent remains to be seen”, said the expert.
