One of the factors that would contribute to a fairer vote is increased voter turnout. This was said by former Interior Minister Emanuil Yordanov on the show "The Day ON AIR".

He noted the problems related to the cases, adding that they are pending in the prosecutor's office.
"The problem with the prosecutor's office has not been solved for a long time. It is not only personal. "We are currently fixated on the figure of one person, although at some point other European prosecutors began to appear," Yordanov commented to Bulgaria ON AIR.

Leader parties and the lack of experts in parliament
The former Minister of Interior pointed out that for another year we do not see prominent lawyers in the candidate lists.

"The only exception I can think of is Tanya Doncheva in the BSP, congratulations to Krum Zarkov. What is observed in Bulgarian politics is that leader parties abound. The leader party does not need quality people. There, the leader comes out ahead, gathers trust, everyone else is irrelevant. There is no way to carry out judicial reform without having entered a courtroom," the guest emphasized.

"When you seek trust, it is normal to stand face to face with people, not to write letters. There are many questions hanging over her, which if not answered, no one will believe her. Dry phrases do not work. I am far from thinking that "Border Police" can make a mistake in a report about who crossed the border and how," Yordanov expressed his opinion.

According to him, inappropriate actions and contacts that damage the prestige of the judicial system must be proven.

"The state of the judicial system affects all of us, including the members of the Supreme Judicial Council," Yordanov concluded.
