To remain children as long as possible in their attitude to the world, the mayor of Sofia, Vasil Terziev, wished the children and grown-up children on the occasion of June 1. In the Prince's Garden, he started the "Dream Together" children's holiday, organized by the Metropolitan Municipality with the support of the "Begach" club, quoted by BTA.
„Happy holiday to all young and grown-up children. I want to wish everyone to be healthy, active and not to lose the childishness in them, regardless of how old they are, to be curious,”, the capital mayor made a wish.
Terziev also wished to dream together with the children about a better city, a better country, a healthier society, in which we understand from a young age that together we can do more. This, according to him, happens through sports, cultural activities, volunteering.
About “The white bunny“ the mayor remembered a journalist's question about which children's song he was thinking of. Tom and Jerry, “Well, Guess“ are the cartoon characters that Terziev said are among his favorites. In general, I have been more active with the ball since I was a child, he admitted.
Today, according to him, marks the beginning of a month of activities planned by the Metropolitan Municipality, related to sports, cultural activities and a visit to the “Balkansky” circus, as well as volunteer actions that bring together young and old and show how much more pleasant it can be to move forward together.
During the month of June, Sofia will become a scene of joy, sport, culture and charity, united under the motto “For the children of Sofia”, reported the Sofia municipality. Throughout the month, children from Sofia will be able to visit free theater performances, hear excerpts from favorite books by famous actors and an exciting visit to the "Balkanski" circus, where they can feel the magic of circus art.
