"What we propose for the third term is the same as we proposed in the 49th National Assembly - an expert cabinet".
This is what the MP from "There is such a people" told BNT. Pavela Mitova.
State behavior must come to the fore, she commented.
"All political entities talk about unification around common topics and subsequently we observe how we can work together on certain legislative initiatives, while at the same time refusing to realize the wider support of an expert cabinet".
Pavela Mitova does not think that judicial reform is the main thing that will unite the parties - in every sphere there were topics that could do it.
From her words, it became clear that ITNs basically agree with the decision of the Constitutional Court regarding the latest changes to the basic law. According to the party, the powers of the chief prosecutor should be limited through the law on judicial power, which is why they will re-introduce a similar proposal to parliament.
"The Constitutional Court, which was one of the few institutions that could be relied on in Bulgaria, has also been controlled politically. With the two last appointments, we enter into a conflict of interests that the legislator did not foresee. Mrs. Desislava Atanasova had to vote on whether texts, which she herself was the author of, were unconstitutional.
According to Mitova, the PP-DB were played by their former partners in the assembly, because at the moment only the texts favorable to GERB and DPS remain from the judicial reform.
If ITN wins the third mandate, they will talk to all formations and present their views on an expert cabinet - first the priorities, then the posts.
"The main problem of previous administrations and talks - we observed behavior in which everyone initially tried to divide the power into boxes that they had to fill in with their own names, and then talk about policies," said Pavela Mitova.
