This was said by the chief of the fire department in Elin Pelin, senior commissioner Georgi Ivanov, BNR reported. Today, specialists were able to enter the site to inspect the consequences after the explosions.
"Compliance with the requirements and the correct installation of the roof did not allow the fire to quickly reach the production. There is no affected production, there are minimal quantities, which against the background of this large warehouse is negligible. It was caused by the fumigation which was aimed right at the food chain warehouse, the smoke carries a lot of solid particles, the high charge of these pyrotechnics aided the ignition.
