We don't have a stabilizing center, said the independent MP

"We are probably going to elections. In Bulgaria, politicians change their minds so often that I expect anything. I have repeatedly said that Rumen Radev is the reason for the state of the party system and the breaking up of the parties one after another. He is smashing the BSP. He pretends to be innocent, but actually rules them. Party after party was destroyed. This sweep brought us to our seventh consecutive election. We don't have a stabilization center. We have a destruction of the party system".

This was commented by the independent MP and political scientist Kaloyan Metodiev in the show "The Day ON AIR".

In his words, throughout Europe, the stabilizing body is the presidential institution - presidents seek consensus so that the state can overcome crises.

"By law, the president must convene a National Security Advisory Council, where he gathers all parties every three months. It has not been used for four years. He refuses to communicate with the party system, refuses to look for bridges or at least not to attack the parties", Metodiev also told Bulgaria ON AIR.

"I have heard in the presidency that the BSP should disappear to make way for a future presidential project. The plan to topple the BSP in the elections had been working months before," the guest said.

Metodiev explained that the parties prepare cadres for management and push a certain policy, then bear responsibility.

"If you constantly push either experts or people from constantly changing parties, it guarantees more instability, more corruption, more negative trends in every sphere of society. We don't need more volatility. A solution to the political crisis must be found," Metodiev is emphatic.

According to him, the GERB party is not stabilized either.

"Rumen Radev is starting to dig there too", pointed out the guest.
