"Obviously some people's proposals have ended and it has shown , that in their form, in which they were voted by this trio with Peevski, the assembly and the rest of the support, were in a bad version, what many experts warned.

Anyway, they were voted in haste, on their knees, and the result was not long in coming. I would not agree that Sarafov's choice is judicial reform. Many things can be done with the judiciary".

This was commented by lawyer Petar Slavov in "Day ON AIR" on the occasion of judicial reform and the election of a new chief prosecutor.

According to him, there are many inaccuracies with the new changes related to the Constitution.

"The main problem in this vote was the participation of people who participated in the adoption of the constitutional changes, then as members of the Constitutional Court they will exercise control over their own acts. Something absolutely unacceptable in law. All this brings us back to the scandalous election of the 49th parliament, for which they later apologized to us, including some of the assembly, what a mistake it was," added Slavov to Bulgaria ON AIR.

He hopes that reason will prevail and that we will not be left without government.

"The big problem with a caretaker cabinet elected in this way is that there is no clear accountability of who is responsible for this caretaker government. You have a home book with a list of people that has clearly narrowed, not filled. Some people do not want, others are not given their wives. Who is responsible for this caretaker government? One shouts "I was proposed by the prime minister", another shouts "I took an oath in front of the parliament". This is an absurd situation. As long as the Constitution is in this form, it must be respected, good or bad," commented the lawyer.

The changes made regarding the caretaker government are extremely ill-conceived, Slavov is categorical.

"Now I read that they introduced changes in several laws, so that we urgently elect an ombudsman or a deputy ombudsman, or a deputy of the Audit Chamber. Such legislative changes cannot be made for a specific person to appoint and then elect him as caretaker prime minister. These are basic principles of the legislative process that do not allow it," he explained.
