A police officer blocked the movement of trams at the Five Corners in Sofia due to improper parking. This is shown in a video distributed on social networks, Dariknews.bg reports.
The footage shows how several trams cannot start because of a parked patrol car with no one in it.
At one point, the uniformed officer returns and moves the car, freeing the way for public transport.
In connection with distributed footage of a patrol car illegally stopped on a tram line in the center of Sofia, the Minister of Interior Daniel Mitov ordered the Director of the State Security Directorate, Chief Commissioner Lyubomir Nikolov, to conduct an inspection. The regional department whose officers carried out the relevant patrol activity has already been identified, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced.
As part of the inspection, the SDVR will clarify all the facts and circumstances that led to the case.
