A 12-year-old child was electrocuted in a public pool. The case is from the Sliven village of Mechkarevo. The boy and his sister were brought to the complex on August 17 by their grandmother.
„Everything was great until a boy from the staff brought a cable that powered the pool cleaning machines. Then Tony started complaining that he felt like he was being electrocuted. I didn't believe him. Shortly before 6 p.m. we decided to leave. While I was dressing his sister Siyana, Tony sat on the pool railing. At one point he bent like a bow and fell to the ground. I grabbed him and took him to the tables. The child was screaming and saying he couldn't feel his body from the waist down," recalls grandmother Sonya Yaneva.
They called an ambulance and the boy is currently in good condition. The woman says that only God saved her grandson. The manager of the complex asked Sonya to show the exact spot where the electric shock hit her grandson. "Ma'am, it happens," said the manager.
