The victims are over 1,000, and the documents in the case include photos, videos, audio recordings. Now this information is about to be published. How Dangerous It Could Be for Donald Trump?

Both houses of Congress in the US almost unanimously ordered the Department of Justice to publish all documents related to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

It remains for Trump, who has radically changed his position on the subject, to sign. Then the details of the scandal involving the millionaire, who died in prison in 2019, will become public knowledge.

Investigated for human trafficking

For many years, financier Epstein maintained contacts with representatives of the elite in the United States. As early as 2005, an investigation was launched against him for running a human trafficking scheme together with his longtime partner Gillian Maxwell.

The accusations that accumulated in the following years revealed a similar scheme: with financial means, Epstein lured underage girls to his properties in New York, Florida, New Mexico and on his own island in the Caribbean, where they became victims of sexual abuse - by Epstein himself, but also by famous people close to him.

Among the most famous names associated with the affair is that of Charles III's brother Andrew, who this year lost his title of “prince" due to allegations of abuse of then-minor Virginia Giuffre.

Epstein has also maintained contacts with two American presidents - the current Donald Trump and the former Bill Clinton.

Occasion for a number of speculations and conspiracy theories

In 2008, Epstein made a deal with the Miami prosecutor's office and pleaded guilty to forcing a minor into prostitution. After 13 months, he was released from prison. In July 2019, he was arrested again, and shortly after, he was found unconscious in his cell in New York with wounds to his neck and placed under constant surveillance due to the risk of suicide. However, this order was canceled at the request of his lawyers.

In August 2019, Epstein was found dead in his cell. The investigation determined that it was a suicide. However, the case continues to concern the American public and attract the attention of the whole world. Epstein's crimes and the way in which the justice system and politicians treat the case raise suspicions and are the basis of a number of conspiracy theories.

Who were Epstein and Maxwell's "clients"?

The documents in the case include over 300 gigabytes of data, photos, videos, pornographic materials and audio recordings that the FBI has collected over the years. According to data from the US Department of Justice, the documents confirm that over 1,000 people were victims of Epstein.

Some of the documents in the case have already been published. However, speculation is still rife whether another part of them contains the names of the millionaire's "clients" for whom he provided underage girls. In July 2025, the US Department of Justice denied the existence of such a list of names. However, this created a serious contradiction in the words of Minister Pam Bondi, who in February stated in an interview with „Fox News" that the list of names was already on her desk.

Many supporters of Donald Trump, who have been demanding the publication of all data in the „Epstein" case for years, began to sharply criticize the president and his cabinet for hiding something. Trump himself also promised during the 2024 campaign that he would publish everything the authorities had.

Tensions within the Republican Party increased, and Trump himself distanced himself from his long-time ally - Marjorie Taylor Green, because Green insisted on the rapid publication of all documents. A few days ago, however, Trump changed his position and insisted that Republicans support the opening of the documents.

Trump and Epstein knew each other well

Trump and Epstein were together at parties in the 1990s on more than one occasion, as evidenced by various videos and photos. According to court documents, Trump flew on Epstein's plane at least seven times. In a 2002 interview, the current US president called him a "wonderful man" and added: "They even say he likes beautiful women just like me." Epstein, for his part, said of Trump: "I was Donald's best friend for ten years."

According to the "Washington Post," in 2004 the two had a falling out over a property in Palm Beach. In 2019, when he was already president, Trump distanced himself from Epstein and claimed to know nothing about his crimes.

In mid-November 2025, however, documents were released again that raised the question of what Trump knew. They were emails between Epstein and his longtime partner Gillian Maxwell. In an email dated April 2, 2011, Epstein wrote to Maxwell: “I want you to know that the dog that hasn't barked yet is Trump. (Name crossed out) spent hours at my house with him, but he was never mentioned once.” In a second email from 2019, Epstein wrote to journalist Michael Wolff: “Of course Trump knew about the girls and asked Gillian to stop.”

Trump blames Democrats and Bill Clinton

Bill Clinton's relationship with Epstein also raises questions. They have known each other since the 1990s, and while Clinton was president, the millionaire visited the White House many times. After the end of his term, Clinton repeatedly used Epstein's private plane for business trips for his foundation. The former president admits to having traveled four times in the vehicle, while according to the media, it is much more. Clinton himself claims that he always traveled with his own staff and security.

In 2003, Epstein turned 50, and his birthday album has also recently become a topic of controversy. According to publications, Donald Trump wrote a special card to Epstein, which included the sentence "we look alike" and a silhouette of a naked woman. He denies it. According to media publications, Clinton also sent a congratulatory message to the millionaire. The former Democratic president claims that he cut off contact with Epstein around 2005, but his partner Maxwell attended his daughter Chelsea's wedding in 2010.

Trump claims that his involvement in the scandal is an attempt by Democrats to divert attention from Bill Clinton. He recently ordered the Justice Department to launch an investigation into Clinton's relationship with Epstein.

Why is Gillian Maxwell silent?

Gillian Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year sentence, is probably the person who knows the most about Epstein's crimes. However, she is not talking about it.

In June of this year, Maxwell was questioned by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche in a Florida prison, where she was serving her sentence. A week later, Maxwell was transferred to a significantly lower-security prison in Texas, where media reports said Maxwell was receiving special treatment.

Epstein's victims and their families were outraged by the move. The reasons for her transfer are unknown, but the decision has fueled speculation that the goal is to buy Maxwell's silence.
