European Commission (EC) spokesperson Paula Pinho refused to comment on Russian President Vladimir Putin's speech at the Valdai International Discussion Club during a briefing, Izvestia reported.
“We are not following President Putin's speeches”, Pinho said.
Putin spoke in Valdai on the evening of October 2. During his speech, the Russian head of state discussed current Russian-Ukrainian relations and the "role of the West" in the conflict between the two countries and stated that Russia would give a "very convincing response" to the militarization of European countries.
