„Thousands of homes in Kiev remain without heating at temperatures of -15°C after Russia's massive night attack. War criminal Putin continues to wage a genocidal war against women, children and the elderly". This is how Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga commented on the massive Russian shelling of Ukraine.
The strikes on Kiev, Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Odessa, Zaporizhia, Poltava, Sumy and other regions led to civilian casualties and damage to the energy infrastructure.
"The resilience of the Ukrainian people cannot be an excuse for continuing this war. It must end as soon as possible", Sibiga is categorical.
"This morning's barbaric strike by Putin is a disturbing signal for world leaders gathering in Davos: support for the Ukrainian people is urgent; there will be no peace in Europe without lasting peace in Ukraine; peace can be achieved through force; we need urgent additional energy assistance, air defense and interceptors, as well as sanction pressure on Moscow", the minister concluded.
