Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 351 Ukrainian drones overnight over various regions of the country, as well as over the waters of the Black and Azov Seas. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry, quoted by TASS, reports BTA.
According to the department, the drones were destroyed over the Astrakhan, Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk and Rostov regions, the Krasnodar and Stavropol territories, the Republic of Adygea and other regions. Drones were also reported downed over Crimea.
Attacks on Ozon logistics centers
Meanwhile, four logistics centers of the Russian online shopping company Ozon were attacked by Ukrainian drones, Reuters reported, citing a company statement.
Since August 22, a total of six Ozon facilities have been attacked.
The company said a logistics center in Makhachkala, in the Russian Republic of Dagestan, burst into flames after a drone attack. According to preliminary information, several people were injured.
Employees from Ozon warehouses in Adygea and Stavropol Territory were evacuated. According to the company, these two sites did not suffer any material damage.
„Ozon“ also reported a major fire at its site in the Krasnodar Territory.
The attacks on the logistics infrastructure come against the backdrop of increased drone strikes on Russian territory. „Ozon“ has become the second major Russian e-commerce giant after „Wildberries“, whose sites have been affected by similar attacks.
