Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has replaced the commander of Ukraine's ground forces, appointing Colonel Svyatoslav Zaits to the post, „Reuters“ reported, quoted by BTA.
Zaits previously served in the Ukrainian airborne troops.
The corresponding decree was published on the Ukrainian president's website at a time when the newly appointed commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army, Mykhailo Drapati, is undertaking changes in the country's armed forces.
