There are already six victims in the explosion at a hydroelectric plant in Italy, reported France Press, quoted by BTA.
The explosion occurred on Tuesday at the Suviana dam plant in the municipality of Camugnano, about 50 kilometers south of Bologna. A man is wanted. About 100 firefighters and 12 divers are still conducting search operations on the ground.
The plant is managed by Enel Green Power, the renewable energy unit of the Italian giant Enel. The company created a fund of two million euros to help the victims and relatives of the accident.
The explosion occurred during site performance improvement activities. The dam wall was not affected by the explosion.
An investigation by the prosecutor's office in Bologna has been launched into the case
Among the victims is a Romanian citizen.
