The US House of Representatives has approved a package of US military aid to the Indo-Pacific region, including Taiwan, reported Reuters, quoted by BTA.
This is the first part of the $95 billion security assistance bill for Ukraine, Israel and other US partners. Today, the lower house of the US Parliament votes separately on the three packages.
Reuters notes that the aid package for Taiwan was approved by a bipartisan majority in the House, which is controlled by representatives of the US Republican Party. The aid packages for Ukraine and Israel should be voted on.
