Israel's foreign minister said the planned military operation in the southern Gaza city of Rafah could be postponed if agreement on the release of the Israeli hostages held by "Hamas", reported Reuters, quoted by BTA.
"Releasing the hostages is a top priority for us," Israel Katz said in an interview with the Israeli TV channel "Channel 12".
Asked if this included postponing the planned operation to eliminate the battalions of “Hamas” in the city of Rafah, Katz replied: "Yes... If there is a deal, we will postpone the operation.
