"For German Chancellor Olaf Scholz's family to laugh at the word " genocide" is already becoming a tradition".

This opinion was expressed by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commenting on the behavior of the first ladies of Germany and France, Elke Budenbender and Brigitte Macron, when visiting the Holocaust Memorial in the center of Berlin.

"The wives of the heads of France and Germany burst into laughter as they visited the Holocaust memorial in Berlin. It seems to have become a tradition for the Scholz family to laugh at the word “genocide”. This is exactly what Olaf Scholz did when he was asked about the extermination of the residents of Donbas to which they were subjected by the Kyiv regime”, the diplomat wrote on his Telegram channel.

Earlier, Bild reported that on the second day of French President Emmanuel Macron's state visit to Germany, the leaders of France and Germany together with their spouses visited the Holocaust Memorial in the center of Berlin and laid wreaths. After visiting the memorial, the first ladies were photographed laughing. It is not clear what made the women laugh, the newspaper specifies.
