Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is visiting the Philippines, where he will have a meeting with the country's President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. reported the Philippine Presidential Communications Office, quoted by Reuters and BTA.
Photos released by the presidency show Zelensky signing the guest book in the presence of Marcos, and representatives of the two countries shaking hands before the meeting.
Zelensky arrived in Manila from Singapore, where he made an unannounced appearance on Sunday at the annual ``Shangri-La Dialogue'' security summit.
At the conference, he asked the participants for support and attendance at the meeting in Switzerland, planned for June 15-16, at which the achievement of peace in Ukraine will be discussed.
