Former Ukrainian Prime Minister: Zelensky is nothing if a person like Yermak has more weight

Let's not overestimate the role of both, the Americans have 100% influence on the current leadership of Ukraine, Mykola Azarov believes

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is a weak political figure, the regime in Kiev is 100% dependent on the USA. This opinion was expressed by the former Prime Minister of the country (2010-2014) Mykola Azarov.

„Zelensky's presidency is in its sixth year, but what serious changes have been made in the economy during this time, what reforms have been made?“

According to him, it is the weakness of Zelensky that allows the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak to gain political weight. “I can say that the head of the administration under different presidents had different weight and influence on the head of state. It all depended on what the president himself was like. Since Zelensky is absolutely nothing, even such an average person as Yermak is most likely trying to determine the country's foreign and domestic policy”, the former prime minister noted, commenting on publications in the Western press about the president's chief of staff.

Earlier, newspaper The Times, citing government, military and diplomatic sources in Ukraine, reported that Zelensky's entourage was worried about his growing influence of Ermak, who concentrates more and more power in his hands.

At the same time, Azarov urged “not to overestimate the role of Zelensky, Yermak and other officials, while the determining factor is US policy”. “The Americans have 100% influence on the current leadership of Ukraine”, he emphasized.

The former prime minister added that the regime in Kiev will fall without financial and military aid from the West. “It is enough to stop the supply of funding and weapons and the regime will literally fall, it will collapse physically. The regime cannot exist without money when soldiers and security services are not paid, he explained.

Azarov is convinced that Ukraine does not have any resources left to resist if Western military aid stops. After all, the Ukrainian authorities have used up all the reserves left over from Soviet times and do not have their own military-industrial complex and industry. “As soon as the supplies stop, it is quite obvious that there will be a capitulation,”, he concluded.
