Biden spoke with Trump after the shooting, Trump left the hospital

US President Joe Biden spoke with former President Donald Trump today (US time), a White House official said home, reported Reuters, quoted by BTA.

Biden also spoke with Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro and Butler Mayor Bob Dendow, the White House official said.

Earlier today at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, there was a shooting in which Trump was wounded in the right ear.

One person who attended the rally was killed, and two others were injured and are in critical condition, the Secret Service reported.

The shooter was killed by Secret Service agents.

Bloomberg reported that Donald Trump has left the hospital where he was examined after the shooting.

President Biden will depart Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, tonight and return to the White House early Sunday, the White House said in a statement.
