The Israeli Air Force has launched a massive strike on Tehran, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman said.
“The Israeli Air Force has completed a massive reconnaissance strike on a number of targets in Tehran linked to the Iranian regime's nuclear weapons program,“ the statement said. The targets were the headquarters of the Iranian Defense Ministry and the Defense Research and Innovation Organization.
As a result of the attack, one of the ministry's administrative buildings suffered minor damage, the Iranian Tasnim news agency reported.
Israel hit two oil storage facilities in Tehran, setting both facilities on fire, the Iranian Fars and Tasnim news agencies reported. The attack targeted oil storage facilities in the Khan and Shahran regions. Emergency services are working at the scene to eliminate the consequences of the strikes.
