Poland is reporting GPS signal disruptions over the Baltic Sea. This was stated by Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosyniak-Kamiś, quoted by "Reuters".

His sources suggest that these interruptions are "related to the actions of the Russian Federation, including sabotage actions".

Russia has repeatedly denied committing violations.

Polish media have reported cases of GPS signal malfunctions in the north of the country, including with private drones flying in unknown directions or losing contact.

Yesterday, a flight from Alicante in Spain to the city of Bydgoszcz was diverted to Poznan in the west of the country due to navigation problems.

"We are monitoring these interruptions. They are also being monitored over the Baltic Sea region by our NATO allies, both in the Baltics and in the Nordics," Kosyniak-Kamish said when asked about similar incidents at a press conference for new helicopters.

"These actions are related, according to our sources, to the actions of the Russian Federation, as well as sabotage," he said.

Baltic countries have reported numerous incidents since Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022, including disruptions to power cables, telecommunications links and gas pipelines, and NATO has increased its presence in the region.

Last year, Estonia and Finland also accused Russia of jamming GPS navigation devices in the region's airspace.
