"The Coalition of the Willing" is actively preparing to send deterrent forces to Ukraine – the plans are almost complete and ready for implementation once a ceasefire is reached between the parties, FOCUS reported.
This was stated by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer at a press conference with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, quoted by Censor.NET
"I am pleased, as are other members of the coalition, that these plans are now as ready as possible for a ceasefire, and that is why last week we held a meeting of the "coalition of the Willing" to approve these plans. But these are already advanced plans. They are ready to be implemented“, Starmer announced.
The British Prime Minister explained that the development of specific military plans takes time, so it was decided to prepare them before the ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia.
"The most important and often the most difficult thing is that we have a command structure that allows plans to go from planning to execution very quickly“, Starmer added.
Earlier it was reported that British and French representatives working on plans for a “peacekeeping force“ for Ukraine recognized the need for a realistic assessment of the role of US President Donald Trump in resolving the conflict.
